About me

When I was little I used to dream about my life now... I always wanted to be many things... a veternarian, a teacher, a doctor, a dancer, a princess, a lawyer, and even a lobbyist who might change the world. I found a job that would allow me the freedom to work with animals, teach and inspire children, take care of those who are sick, dance to loud music whenever I wanted, occassional receive the adoration of royalty, work through conflicts and disagreements that seem to have my world at a standstill, and I still get to petition for the little guy volunteering my time in an effort to change the world. The pay isn't great, but the benefits are awesome. I am a Mom to 4 children all born in the span of 4 years and 2 months.

For the longest time, I thought motherhood might not be in the cards for us... 4 and almost 5 years went by.... no babies, just dogs who were treated like humans. Finally, in 2000 our oldest daughter was born. She was everything spectacular that I had heard friends speak about and her birth gave me the initiation into a sisterhood of women called mom.
